1. Nine Inch Nails - The Slip

If you don't know about it, it's FREE, legally free! Trent decided to release this one for the world with no price, just head on over to nin.com and see for yourself. This album is a solid barrage of 10 tracks that goes through almost every style you've ever heard from NIN. It starts off with an eerie introduction that leads into 2 heavy hitting songs that leave you craving more. Then you head on over to the album's single, "Discipline" for the more dance like side some of you may or may not know from NIN. Afterwords you've got a nice mellow tune, a big bass song with a soft chorus, a beautiful track of Trent signing only accompanied by his piano playing, the longest ambient instrumental by NIN to date, a smooth mellow instrumental, and one more awesome rock song for good measure. This is definitely in my opinion the best album of 2008 and one of NIN's best works as well.

2. Danko Jones - Never Too Loud

The man is back! If you are a fan of any of his previous works, this one definitely will not disappoint. Not only does it return with the classic Danko Jones signature ass kicking rock, but it also has a deeper song writing technique with some more calm sides and yes, even close to a ballad or two. My favourite track off this one would have to be 'Forest for the Trees', good solid metal with the lead singers of Kyuss and Goatsnake backing Danko up, this track, and this entire album for that matter, is one hell of ride you'd be stupid to miss.

3. Does It Offend You, Yeah? - You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into

Just listen to it, they're not kidding, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into! You start off with an awesome instrumental track with a solid attack of digital sound, called none other than 'Battle Royale', if that's not awesome enough, try track names like, 'Dawn of the Dead' or 'Attack of the 60ft. Lesbian Octopus'. Music wise you're thrown from anywhere to digital rock to softer rock reminiscent of bands like The Killers. If any of this sounds good to you, get the whole thing, an experience and a half.

4. Die Mannequin - Unicorn Steak

For lack of a better term, Chick rock at its best. This album is a combination of both of their EPs, and contains a great mix of both emotion and power. I don't know how else to describe this one, worth a listen either way.

5. Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV

NIN is on here twice, who would have ever guessed that? :P This album was quite a surprise when fans were given the message, "2 weeks" on the nin.com news page. This is a 36 track album divided by 4 separate listings called Ghosts which contain great instrumentals that range anywhere from powerful rock soundtracks to calm and gentle pieces of beauty. If you're a NIN fan it's worth getting.

6. Ladytron - Velocifero

Ladytron is a fantastic band. For those who aren't familiar, they are a four piece containing two females and two males, they all lay various digital instruments and both females do vocals. The one vocalist does the lead for most songs, of course in English. The other one does back up except for certain tracks where she does lead in Bulgarian, which is absolutely amazing when accompanied with either a beautiful or loud digital rock song. This latest work follows their classic formula of....awesome! Get it!

7. Yoav - Charmed & Strange

A good choice for acoustic lovers. This album has a very cool style to it. A lot of the percussion in this album is actually played on the guitar itself. The music style is very vibrant and beautiful but overall contains a very dark side. Very cool, very worth checking out.

8. AC/DC - Black Ice

Holy shit! It actually happened. This has been rumored since 2004. Finally out now it contains a bunch of new tracks by this important rock band. I don't know how else to describe it. It came along with their possibly last tour and took everyone by surprise and excitement.

9. Weezer - The Red Album

After the radio and Rock Band assaulted me with their tunes, I couldn't get the infectious tunes out. This new album contains many different styles on one album. It starts with their usual rock style, but goes into other tracks in between including songs that even reach fairly close to Industrial Rock. If you can't get their tunes out of your head either, this album is worth grooving out to.

10. Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy

The year for big returns? This important rock band....well...Axl returns XD I have to admit, new tracks like 'Chinese Democracy' and 'Shackler's Revenge' attract me to this band more than their old stuff did, don't get me wrong the old stuff was great, but I can't deny how epic the new stuff is. It contains many different musicians throughout the album including Robin Finck, who is also NIN's guitarist. I was fortunate enough to see NIN twice this year and if after their done touring I somehow get to see Robin again, but with Guns, I'll be more than happy!

Additionally, Each episode features a specially edited music video from a different artist."

It's opening theme is a Danko Jones song too. As well as the music videos seem to be from indie Canadian bands like Danko Jones and even The Illuminati.

No, drugs are silly.

For it. If the child is going to be in a rough situation where the parents really can't take care of it, might as well mercy speed it to the next life.

No, the world fails anyways.

Yes. Some people can't be reformed, and we're running out of room for housing.

For. Marriage is probably the most irrelevant thing in terms of love and sex.

Yes. Like question 6, they'll just be in love anyways. Why piss someone off for no reason? I do think it should only be done in an accepted place though. Getting married in a homophobic church just sounds hypocritical.

Yes. I'm not racist, but if anyone comes to another country without a basic understanding of their words for: 'Hi' 'Yes' 'No' 'Please' 'Thanks' 'Bye', then they'll be on my list for the return boat home.

11. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
This is a somewhat tough one. If the child has help from an outside source, let's say like a parent or grandparent, and has a thorough understanding of what lies ahead, yes they should keep it. If they don't want the child, see question 3.

12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Yes. For fuck's sake, it's just booze. I want to go see concerts in bars and have something to do at 2 in the morning.

13. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Yes. There's no point.

14. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Yes. It's been a law for quite a while :P

If the question was worded more like: Do you agree that assisted suicide should stay illegal?
My answer would be, yes it should be illegal. If you can't kill yourself, you're not trying hard enough XD

Sure. As long as you don't hurt them too bad. I was spanked once, but only once, because when I was being spanked I started laughing.
